The Western Reserve Historical Society preserves and presents the history of  the people in northeast Ohio. It is the largest privately supported regional historical society in the nation and operates seven historical properties in northeast Ohio.

The Society's University Circle complex houses a Library and two Museums:  The History Museum and the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum.
