More than 33,600 students attend Kent State, one of Ohio's largest universities. Kent is home to the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music, Porthouse Theatre and Kent/Blossom Music - an annual music event held each summer. The School of Theatre and Dance presents comedy, drama, and musicals. The Kent State University Museum features nine galleries housing one of the nation's largest collections of gowns, traditional dress, and intereior domestic displays. Kent State is home of the Golden Flashes college sports teams whose facilities include Olga Mural Field and Schoonover Stadium, Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center, Murphy Mellis Field, Dix Stadium, Kent State Soccer Field, Kent State Softball Field, and Kent State Field House.
